Players, scores, the letters used, your round timer and every other setting are saved with your browser's localStorage, on your device only. None of it is sent to a server, because there is no server for it to go to - the game runs entirely client side. Clearing your browser data or using a different device or browser starts a fresh game.
The share and challenge links you can generate from the scoreboard encode a player's own name and score directly in the URL. Nothing is stored server side to build that link - anyone with the link can see the name and score it contains, so treat it the same as you would any link you choose to share.
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings, and find more general detail in Google's advertising policy.
The site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see aggregate traffic and page performance - roughly how many people visit, which pages, and how fast the site loads. Neither product sets identifying cookies or tracks you across other sites; see Vercel's Analytics privacy documentation for how that data is handled.
The game logic itself sets none. Third-party cookies may be set by Google AdSense as described above. Your browser controls let you block or clear these at any time.
This site is a general-audience word game and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. It is not directed at children, and no account or personal data is ever requested to play.
If what the site collects or who it works with changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will move. There is no mailing list or notification, so check back if you want the current version.
Questions about this policy can be raised as an issue on the project's repository, linked from the site's source.
